Frames often look similar but are in fact of very
different quality. This makes comparing prices of framed
prints more difficult than comparing prices of standard
products like CD's or books. We went to dozens of frame
shops around the country, compared costs for similar
quality and came up with an average nationwide price
(including mat, frame, glass and mounting fees). Our
regular prices are generally 40% to 50% less that the
frame shop prices. For some popular items that are
pre-framed for quick shipping, our prices are even
lower.
